If your family is experiencing childhood cancer and you live in the East of England, I might be able to help with transport.

When I can, I also offer transport support to people in vulnerable circumstances, including but not limited to financial hardship, loneliness, and life-threatening conditions.

I‘ve been helping families since 2015

When the weather allows, I offer flights so families can spend a fun and memorable day away or visit a friend or family.

I’m a private pilot and I use my own general aviation aeroplane.

These flights are completely free, subject to weather conditions, and are organised by invitation only.

I understand how challenging travel to and from hospital treatments can be. Long and costly frequent trips add to the stress and concerns of families fighting childhood cancer. So, if you and your child need a lift, I can help you.

This is a volunteer service I provide when I’m available and subject to the following conditions:

  • You live no more than 60 miles away from Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

  • Your trip to hospital is for a consultation or treatment appointment. I don’t offer transport in emergencies.

  • The patient needs to be one of the passengers and accompanied by one of their parents/guardians.

  • The patient is undergoing oncology treatment or attending an appointment related with diagnoses or follow up for paediatric cancer.

“We cannot thank you enough for a such a lovely day making memories as a family, we enjoyed ourselves so much and are so pleased you offered us the chance to fly with you

Augustina has been admitted to Addenbrookes this morning. She's clung on to the teddy bear since the day (we flew and) you gave it to her. It's the only thing that would calm her down and comfort her as she sleeps. I would like to think that it reminds her of a different experience. That was fun and happy.”
